I came across these chest of drawers last week in an antique warehouse!
I'm going to renovate these but the chest of drawers would equally sit well in a loft style apartment or country cottage untouched.

Last week was great, we had a fab sale of Vintage wares. Rachel and I worked really hard but we have never seen as many people in the shop before. The shop on Frank Street, Barnoldswick was buzzing. I sold lots of John Lewis surplus stock plus my vintage products and also had orders for shabby chic furniture too. Rachel sold some really retro 1980's clothing to some very interesting people!!
Pictures of a make shift window display and stock and lovely Rachel & Lea. It was all very last minute but we think it was worth it.

My lounge is almost finished. Bought some pure silk fabric the other day and I'm going to have them interlined for warmth. When choosing my furnishings, I tend not to spend hours looking for things to match, it just works and somehow makes it much more lived in and homely. The place is more like a home at last.

Love this simple idea for my kitchen.
Everything is hidden away and I love the natural elements against the units and large mirror.
I like how the chairs are mixed, nothing contrived here, it just flows and works.

1940's Kitchenette

Hope you like this lovely 1940's Kitchenette I picked up from Sue's collectables in Skipton. It needed a little TLC and I'm not quite finished yet. I painted it in Farrow & Ball (Bone). It's given it a lovely finish. I will admit, now it's finished I'm wondering if I should keep it!! X

I met up with Jez in August at Harewood House VW Festival and was really impressed with their stand. For me, this company stood out from the crowd..
